I love this country, and it hurts me to see middle class families struggle. So with this being said what does America need to do in order to not let the middle class shrink?
For one everyone I feel needs to become involved in politics, money for this war and what not is not where our tax money should entirely be going, I also think we need to find another way to life then shopping all our money away too. I feel everyone in this class should take time and google "the story of stuff with annie leonard" and watch the video. Its a very interesting approach to the american economy and how we live and even if you dont care, give 20 minutes and actually look at it, because it is well worth the watch. Because if we got rid of this system, I think this recession we are going through wouldn't be as big of a deal in my eyes.
America needs to reform the way things are done in Washington. If American middle class famillies have to live by a budget why can't Washington. Washington spending is out of control. Washington needs to balance thier budget so other people don't have to pay for thier debt like the middle class famlies
I think middle class homes are struggling today because of our economic status, which is a shame because big corporations like exxon have ot felt a bit of this reccesion we are. i honestly beleive for our middle class homes to be able to thrive like they did before we need to cut tax breaks but increase taxes on big corporations that have been having record breaking numbers at the end of every fiscal year.
The primary reason behind the shrinking of the middle class is simply because, people don't live within there class. They try and live up to a higher status by, buying things they simply cannot afford including houses, car, etc.
I just feel that the middle class is always tryin to become not the middle class and always strive for more so the middle class just keeps getting smaller by the day.
I am not to big in politics or why just the middle class struggles. Why is it always the middle class that gets hurt the most over other peoples dumb decisions?

America has different cultures, and it make life more colorful. We should appreciate everything we have. more diversity, more things to see.
I think most people don't realize how nice we have it here in the US
