At sporting events, during the playing of the National Anthem, Old Geezers hold their caps over their hearts and sing without embarrassment. They know the words and believe in them. Old Geezers remember World War I, the Depression, World War II, Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal, Normandy and Hitler. They remember the Atomic Age, the Korean War, The Cold War, the Jet Age and the Moon Landing, not to mention Vietnam.
If you bump into an Old Geezer on the sidewalk, he will apologize. If you pass an Old Geezer on the street, he will nob or tip his cap to a lady. Old Geezers trust strangers and are courtly to women. Old Geezers hold the door for the next person and always, when walking, make certain the lady is on the inside for protection.
Old Geezers get embarrassed if someone curses in front of women and children and they don't like any filth on TV or in movies. Old Geezers have moral courage. They seldom brag unless it's about their grandchildren.
It's the Old Geezers who know our great country is protected, not by politicians or police, but by the young men and women in the military serving their country.
This country needs Old Geezers with their decent values. We need them now more than ever. Thank God for Old Geezers!
I wake up every morning seeing this on the fridge. My dad is an Old Geezer, and I'm proud of him. I too think now more than ever we could use more Old Geezers around. Tell me your thoughts on this piece of work?

i agree we do need more old geezers in the world because we are getting more and more people that only care about them selfs
I think this is so true right to a T. Old people may get annoying or on our nerves but it is their morals and politeness that we all need to take tips and pointers from. I think by the time we all get to that certain age of being "old" we forget everything that was important to us before that shouldn't have been such as putting on a show to be "cool."

That is one of the statement of fact! we do need to have more affectionate people, just like old geezers being around. Life would be more beautiful, peaceful with people like them.

I a bunch of Old Geezers in my family and love every single one of them, we definently need to emulate them more often. Almost seems like chivalry is all but dead but some of them old guys still hold on to it. You rock Old Geezers!!
I agree we do need to take more advice from the old geezers. They are terrible when it comes to driving but their morals and their outlooks on life, we could all learn from! I really liked this blog!!!
ya the slutty fashion of our world today is a bit over whelming. I have grown up with a very laxed family towards sexual jokes and immature bs but when it comes to the public we all are very shoes tied and hair combed. so i agree old geezers are needed

I like this piece of work alot i also agree that "old Geezers" have a certain kind of values that our generation lacks that is very respectable. I also think that these values they have will come with age and maturity from our generation.
Old people are my favoire people! They are usually very kind and always want to share their wisdom with you!

That is one thing wrong in our world today no one has any respect. it is all about the indavidual not the community. people have no morals anymore.
